Drip edge or eave flashing, is used at the edge of the roof to protect the fascia board from degrading due to wet weather conditions. Drip Edge is designed to divert water away from the eaves and edges and into the gutters or away from the fascia board. This keeps it from soaking into the more porous materials that surround the roofs edge.

While older homes may not have these installed, many modern building codes will require drip edge flashing on all future installations and repairs to prevent future structural water damage.

The Drip Edge Flashing is made with heavy duty, 28 gauge, galvanized steel. It is available in 2 colour options and the colour is only applied to the inside angle of the flashing.
