Step Flashing is a vital component of most roofing systems, as it protects the interface between the roof and vertical wall from water penetration. It is preferred over continuous flashing because it can be overlapped with shingles to ensure that the water that would normally migrate underneath a shingle is directed on top of the flashing that covers it. This allows the water to drain away in a safe and efficient manner.

The Step Flashing is made with heavy duty 28 gauge carbon steel as well as 30 gauge galvanized steel and it does not have drip or hem. It is available in 2 color options and the color is only applied to the inside angle of the flashing. This product is sold in 8 inch length sections.
